How much does dryer repair cost in Washington?
It depends on the dryer and what's actually wrong with it. We diagnose it on-site first, then give you a clear price before we start any repair. No guessing over the phone.
Do you charge a diagnostic fee for dryer repair?
Yes, there's a diagnostic fee for the visit. If you decide to go ahead with the repair, the service call fee applies toward the repair.
What dryer brands do you repair?
Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, Frigidaire, KitchenAid, GE, Bosch, Electrolux, Beko, and Blomberg, among other major brands.
Do you offer same-day dryer repair?
Often, yes. A dryer that won't heat is usually urgent, so a lot of calls get scheduled same-day or next-day, depending on how the day is booked.
Are you licensed and insured to repair dryers?

What if my dryer can't be fixed?
We'll tell you straight if a repair isn't worth it, usually when the parts cost more than the dryer is worth. You won't get charged for a repair we don't recommend. See our repair vs. replace guide for how we think about it.
Do you offer any discounts on dryer repair?
10% off labor for military and veterans, 10% off labor for seniors 60 and up, and $25 off labor for first-time customers. Diagnostic fee isn't included in any of these.
Common dryer problems
Dryer not heating?
Usually a failed heating element, a blown thermal fuse, or, on gas dryers, an igniter issue. A tripped thermal fuse is often caused by a blocked vent, so we check that too.
Dryer taking too long to dry clothes?
Most often a clogged lint vent or duct restricting airflow. Sometimes it's a failing thermostat instead. We check the vent first since that's the most common cause.
Dryer making a loud squealing or thumping noise?
Usually worn drum support rollers, an idler pulley, or a belt. We can often tell which one it is by where the noise is coming from.
Dryer won't start at all?
Could be the door switch, a tripped thermal fuse (often from a blocked vent), or the start switch itself. We check these before recommending a repair.
